Jack Daniels Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Jack Daniel's is a brand of Tennessee whiskey and the top-selling American whiskey in the world. It is produced in Lynchburg, Tennessee, by the Jack Daniel Distillery, which has been owned by the Brown–Forman Corporation since 1956.Jack Daniel's home county of Moore is a dry county, so the product is not available for purchase at stores or restaurants within the county.Jack Daniels Cola 375mL can The product meets the regulatory criteria for classification as a straight bourbon, though the company disavows this classification. It markets the liquor simply as Tennessee whiskey rather than as Tennessee bourbon. As defined in the North American Free Trade Agreement, Tennessee whiskey is classified as a straight bourbon authorized to be produced in the state of Tennessee. Tennessee law (57-2-106) further requires most producers of Tennessee whiskey to filter the spirit through charcoal made from maple prior to aging, in addition to meeting the above requirements (the "Lincoln County Process").

A disgruntled customer shared this in a review,"Jack Danie's Tennessee Whiskey is a horrible whisky and there is a reason why "jack and coke" became popular, because you want to dilute the stuff as it's a horrible/horrid taste. I am not sure why it has to taste so bad...but it does. I also find the price to be ridiculous for a low grade whisky product."

Security Guard (Unarmed) says

"So many issues to list. Highly would not recommend anyone that has any kind of sense to be an employee here. There is to much disorganization from within the company as to schedules and a profound lack of proper communication from the supervisors on down."

Armed Security Guard (Current Employee) says

"I would not to come over to this company and want to get a job they don't want someone that has and opinion and knows how to speak their mind working there Cons: Everything"

Security Officer (Former Employee) says

"Walden Security treats you with no respect and when you call in sick will replace your post with another Officer without notifying you. There HR and the Management team are very sneaky and will back stab you when a job is available. The Worst job ever!!!! Cons: Health care is too expensive!"

Security Officer (Former Employee) says

"On call 24/7 for almost minimum wage. Upper management doesn't care in the least about anyone but themselves. Constantly threatened with disciplinary action or worse for things like having doctor appointments, or even refusing to work unscheduled overtime. Armed guards are given bad gear, if any gear. Good employees are told to work 70+ hour weeks and written up for taking a day off, while employees who continuously lay out or come in hours late are allowed to do so without repercussions. Cons: Barely over minimum wage, terrible management, actively hostile workplace, ineffective training"

Unarmed Security Officer (Current Employee) says

"Pay & benefits"

Security Officer (Former Employee) says

"They don’t care about they employees they will fire you without explanation. They will mess up your paycheck and want pay u for the hours that’s missing on your paycheck if a client wants you removed they will remove you and want find you another post. Cons: They don’t care about they employees they will lay you off without explanation"

Post Supervisor (Former Employee) says

"Do not work for them. You get paid almost nothing for a lot of work. They treat you horribly, and don’t treat you like you’re a person at all. It’s just not worth it. You will make more money working in fast food or retail and be treated much better too. Cons: You are not treated like a person."

Security Officer (Current Employee) says

"you will be free labor for anything/anybody on the client site, security related ot otherwise. I've been a truck dispatcher, facilities manager, and door labeler, Management basically says yes to anything the client asks for, and does not think it through."

Security Officer (Former Employee) says

"Contacted HR for over 2 months because I was being harassed and stalked at work by someone who previously harassed another coworker prior to my hire and they refused to contact me back to address it at all. My immediate boss continued to place us together until there was a major confrontation then they wanted the answer to be to put me on a different shift, but I refused because I was not the issue."

Contracted Security Specialist (Former Employee) says

"Maybe it was just the account that I was assigned to work. Maybe it was just the petty in house Security Director that we were assigned to. Maybe it was just the local offices decision to prioritize the client demands over officer feedback, concerns, or welfare. The place was just a revolving door. You had a great trainer but classes were 25+ people and you were just an expendable quantity. Even training was done at your expense for low industry pay. The management was a revolving door when I was there as well. The in house guy was a bully who kept making the contract company (us) look bad so that he could keep his job as a "consultant." He used his position to benefit himself while firing all the in-house long term employees. He had a buddy in upper museum management that I think both used the system to get themselves bonuses while claiming they streamlined operations. It had the illusion of a well run business but was always in flex. They hired a new office general manager but even he was a victim of the client in the end. Do not trust these people--they will promise you anything to get you in the door and then take advantage of you every chance they get"

Unarmed Security Guard (Former Employee) says

"After 3 days of no pay training, buying own shirts and shoes. You have to pay to be fingerprinted, in order to work. Low pay, no days off until after a year."

Security Officer (Current Employee) says

"Upper management tries to turn coworkers against each other.they expect you to stay late if No one shows up and they do not show you any appreciation."

Licensed professional security officer (Former Employee) says

"This company cared nothing about their employees. I have never worked with so many unprofessional people. As a supervisor I received no help in solving problems at my site. I was overloaded with work, working long hours and treated poorly."

Unarmed Security Officer (Former Employee) says

"They won't know you, seriously worked for them for a long time and they don't even know who you are or where you work until you have to ask for a day off or your pay check needs fixed...which is every other check they mess something up. Good luck getting a hold of an operations manager. They pay more at Walmart."

Security Supervisor (Former Employee) says

"The HR and management does not care about the employees. Save yourself don’t work for them! They will hire your replacement while you train and not tell you."

Security Officer (Full-time) says

"There is a lot of favoritism between white officers and their black officers. Upper management at the Walden office in( Los colinas, Texas) management are very unfair in the"

Account Manager (Former Employee) says

"One of the worst security companies I've ever worked for. In my 5yrs of employment as a Acc. Manager, the district office turnover rate was terrible, filled with corruption, lies & deceit. People lying their way to the top. A family based company that had the right intentions but continued to make the wrong decisions on who they chosed to run their company."

Security Officer (Former Employee) says

"They did not pay well I payed them to do my license they took the money and did not feel out the license I worked for them for 9 months as a unlicensed s/o I could have been fined and really got into trouble thanks to them o and the 100 dollars I payed for my license was never refunded or returned and there mangment did not care this was happening in there company"

North Georgia Field Supervisor (Former Employee) says

"Do not get get a job at Walden Security they treat you like dirt and will walk all over you and your leadership. They run the place like a dictatorship and could care less about you or anyone else's personal life."

Security Officer (Former Employee) says

"pay sucks, management sucks and don't take care of employee's. the company don't do anything when you complain. if your working full time at a location and for whatever reason the location close they take MONTHS to find another job IF you even work."

Former Employee - Office Assistant says

"I worked at Jack Daniels Motors full-time for more than a year Cons: Literally everything else about the company was garbage"

Former Employee - Sales Associate says

"I worked at Jack Daniels Motors full-time for less than a year Cons: High turnover, low base pay , to many sales people on the floor , bonus plan is strategically designed so you do not reach it. Place is horrible, other dealerships offer better base plan and much better bonus and pay plan structure. Here you are just a number , no one lasts more than 6 months the place is one giant revolving door. Stay away from the JD group it’s all lies , they paint a pretty picture that you will make six figures but in the end it’s all a lie."

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I worked at Jack Daniels Motors full-time for less than a year Cons: Everything gnashes their teeth to be in this highly abusive environment"

Former Employee - Manager says

"I worked at Jack Daniels Motors full-time for less than a year Cons: Abusive and challenged "Exec Team"...puuuhleeeze spare me! Over-inflated egocentric "Exec Team" that breaks themselves out for distiction on the websites seperately from "the reast of the team. Pander to owners and overstate accomplishments. Tells you evything you need to know. Delay in pay, delay payment to vendors, cheat on everything under the sun regarding commissions and bonuses, ignore client complaints, ignore genuine employee issues, its all about the "Exec Team"!"

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says

"I worked at Jack Daniels Motors full-time Cons: Management is condescending to employees and create a hostile environment."

Former Employee - Sales Associate says

"I worked at Jack Daniels Motors full-time for less than a year Cons: Theres too many sales people Some get special attention Theres a concerning lack of leadership Sometimes team meetings take over and hour and don't produce any results"

Former Employee - Sales Manager says

"I worked at Jack Daniels Motors full-time Cons: The fact that a few 5 star reviews have suddenly appeared only reinforces the truth about the unethical behavior of this company. Executive management is clueless. They pressure employees to write good reviews on any site where a negative review is posted. Despite all of these efforts the truth about the company still comes through. Rather than do the right thing they try to manipulate the system. The following quote was from the founder. They had the nerve to post this on their Facebook page!! Completely hypocritical. "The most valuable asset of a firm is its good name. Let us not allow any distorted judgment or attitude, for we have a sacred trust to protect our employees and our customers. In the long run those firms which will survive and prosper are those who maintain conservative policies and put their co- workers and customers interests first." The company lost its "good" name years ago. They should be ashamed of themselves."

Sales Consultant says

"I worked at Jack Daniels Motors for more than a year Cons: Top heavy with overpaid executive managers leading dumb cluck owners/brothers to ruin their father's heritage and wreck the aspirations of the children following in these idiot's footsteps. There will be nothing left due to greed, avarice and ego. Look elsewhere for a job; fry cook is pretty appealing right now and pays better with better hours. These guys even open on major holidays just for the public's money."

says

"I worked at Jack Daniels Motors Cons: Corporate management out of touch with today's market. Less than competitive pay plan. Personnel development is nonexistent. Extremely high employee turnover!"

Haylie says

"The whisky is not worth the weeks of stress and headaches. Absolute disaster. The first package I ordered (a $200 custom order) was never delivered. I have been emailing with no response from them. I am located in the US so I cannot call them. I have had to file chargeback claims with my bank and a claim with UPS. The second package I ordered to replace the lost one was "handed to UPS" on Sept 3rd but it is now Sept 9th and I called UPS and they never received this package. I was exited to give my boyfriend a great personalized, expensive bottle of whisky for his birthday but this company has caused weeks of stress and headaches- much more than this whisky is worth."

Nana says

"My order was never received"

James says

"Useless! Ordered whisky to home address. Email received telling me "Collection address as per my home address" No whisky. Telephone WE told it was a collection order from London Bridge. Total nonsense. They then want to charge the postage they omitted. Very unhelpful - cancelled order, will not use again."

Conrad says

"A bit disappointed, The Whisky Exchange sent wrong bottle and misinformation on site regarding bottle. I went to buy the Langatun Cardeira cask finish and The Whisky Exchange site showed cask #1021, No. of bottles 444, and vintage 2012, with bottling date 2018. What I received was the 3rd edition Langatun Cardeira cask finish, cask #445, No. of bottles 404, and vintage 2014, bottling date 2019. When I wrote to complain and explain the mistake, The Whisky Exchange never responded or wrote back."
